Antonio HERNANDO

Antonio is the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development of B58.

Prior to joining B58 in 2019, Antonio developed a large part of his professional career in the Gas Natural Fenosa Group (NATURGY), where he has held, among others, positions of responsibility as Director of Corporate Development (GNF) and Director of Promotion and International Development (GNF). Previously to that period, from 2006 to 2011, Antonio was the Head of the Business Development at Unión Fenosa Gas, giving continuity to his involvement in the Damietta LNG Plant project where he was acting as the Project Director during the Development Phase (2000-2001).

Antonio has worked in the energy sector all over the world, highlighting projects in Egypt (SEGAS LNG), Morocco, Tunisia, Persian Gulf, Dominican Republic (CDE); Slovakia, Czechia, UAE, Oman, Equatorial Guinee, Mozambique, South Africa, Angola, USA and Canada,…. among others.

Before joining the gas sector, he was active in the Engineering and Consultancy businesses for more than 15 years, as Head of Business Development, during the international expansion of Unión Fenosa Group, having direct responsibilities over different geographical areas, such as MENA, Sub Saharan Africa and CIS countries. He has also participated in the mining sector in the last four years.

He is a Technical Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has a PDD from IESE (Executive Development Program) graduated in 2000.

Ignacio ROMERO

Ignacio is the Head of Trade Finance of B58.

Prior to joining B58, Ignacio has deployed an extensive professional career in the field of Trade Finance in different organizations, having direct responsibilities related to the management and control of the Documentary Credits & Risks. Some of the main references in his background are:

    1. ADDAX Energy: In charge of managing documentary risk for the Oryx Energies group, including foreign subsidiaries.
    2. LITASCO: Trading arm of Lukoil. Jointly with Credit Risk department, structuration of deals with trading desks or third parties so as to risks are recognized and minimized.
    3. BNP Paribas: Documentary credit department (international trade finance)

Ignacio has a Diplôme d'études commerciales, option "gestion", from C.E.S.S.N.O.V., Yverdon-les-Bains and made his Ecole Supérieure, Yverdon-les-Bains Certificat d'études supérieures.

Olga VITÓRICA

Olga Vitórica is the Financial Controller and Head of the Accounting Department of B58.

Olga has been working with us since 2020, in charge of developing periodic closings and compliance with the B58’s companies accounting and tax obligations.

Prior to joining us, she has developed her professional career in the field of finance in different national and international companies, having clients from several countries and working for a wide variety of sectors such as Renewable Energies, Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, amongst others, taking the companies to optimize their financial resources in order to reach a higher-level performance and improving their results.

Olga has a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Carlos III University of Madrid.

Francisco FERNÁNDEZ

Francisco is the B58’ Managing Director for our operations in Asia-Pacific, that are centralized in Singapore, where he is ordinarily resident. He supervises and coordinate the development of the Group business strategy in Asia.

He has been working in the Investment Banking department of Merrill Lynch & Co. in San Francisco, EEUU (2002-2007), venturing on his own since 2007, Francisco was aware of the economic growth of Asia, especially Southeast Asia where he begins his trading activities in 2010.

Francisco has a very extensive experience in the Indonesian coal market, covering the entire value chain -production,  coal logistics (transshipment operations), barge and vessel chartering especially for Dry Bulk Vessels (domestic and overseas) procurement (Kalimantan and Sumatra) and trading (domestic and overseas)-.

He has advised several Chinese, South Korean and Thai companies, assisting them in different aspects of the business such as Sourcing Strategy, Cost Reduction Projects, Logistic (Vessels Demurrages Monitoring, Chartering for the Barges, Floating cranes and Stevedoring services), as well as Coal Sales Purchase Contracts and Letters of Credit Compliance.

Francisco holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and International Business from the University of San Francisco.

Adrian Raguza is a partner at B58 Ventures, specializing in M&A, debt restructuring, and financing structures. He has an extensive career spanning multiple countries, including Argentina, Spain, Ireland, and Italy.

Adrian is a key player in the development of B58 Ventures' international presence. He joined the firm after a successful tenure in various international law firms and has since made significant contributions in diverse industries such as Food, Real Estate, Sports Business, and Energy.

In the Food industry, he has been pivotal as the CEO and Partner at MOON Main Company, focusing on the development of food franchises. In Real Estate, Adrian has held influential roles, including Majority Partner and Chairman of the Board at Rusitano S.A., and Partner at Insigne SL Spain, an affiliate of Lucas Fox International. His involvement extends to the Sports Business sector, where he has served as Trustee of Colon de Santa Fe Football Club and Treasurer of Rosario Central Football Club, demonstrating his versatility and leadership skills.

At B58 Ventures, Adrian currently leads as the Regional Director for Business Expansion in Latin America, driving the firm's growth and strategic direction in the region.

Adrian holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a Postgraduate degree in Bankruptcy Trusteeship. His academic background, combined with his diverse professional experiences, has positioned him as a key asset in B58 Ventures, enhancing the company's capabilities in navigating complex financial landscapes and maximizing value creation.

Valmério is Head of Business Development - South American Market at B58 Ventures.

Prior to joining B58 Ventures, Valmério spent most of his professional career in the Air Transport Industry, building software and control solutions for the logistical and passenger divisions.

Valmério has worked as a Software Product Manager in Brazil, Spain and Bolivia. He has worked in the textile and electronic components trade between China and South America for more than 15 years.

Valmério is a Software Engineer from UNIGRAN - MS - Brazil.

Fernando AMORES

Fernando is our Head of Business Development, directly responsible for the Chinese Market.

Fernando is Managing Director at EXPORT MANAGEMENT VERMILLION, the Food and Beverage business arm of B58.

Before joining B58, he worked for more than 15 years, in companies in the food and beverage export sector as Manager / owner of Amores Wines and Export Products from Spain, specializing in Asian markets, with his own companies in Spain, Ireland and China.

Prior that period, Fernando hold management positions in electronics/computer companies in charge of exports and imports.

Fernando is UOC graduated Computer Engineering and Madrid University Specialist in Management and administration.

Pedro is the Head of Europe & Middle East Regions

Pedro has been engaged in global sourcing, marketing and supply of industrial products, equipment and petroleum specialties in The Americas with particular focus in Latin America and The Caribbean.
Pedro has developed and maintains contact with manufacturers and customers aiming successful transactions with an effective supply chain management.

Pedro holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Administration • University of Oviedo and a master’s degree from IESE Business School (Barcelona- SPAIN)
